Conor Houston has been appointed Northern Ireland Director at Vulcan Consulting – as the company expands into Northern Ireland.
The establishment of an office in Belfast and the appointment of Conor Houston reflect Vulcan’s ongoing commitment to drive growth and outstanding service delivery to clients across the island of Ireland. The Belfast office is the latest expansion at Vulcan, which already has teams working from offices in Dublin and Brussels – and a global network of public affairs partners.
Vulcan Consulting specialises in providing clients with strategic advice on how to overcome political and regulatory hurdles across Europe. Vulcan represents many of Ireland’s leading companies in sectors including bio-pharmaceutical, financial services, digital & technology, security & defence, energy & renewables, retail & consumer services, transport, international trade and property.
Conor will work closely with company founder and CEO, Lucinda Creighton, and the wider Vulcan team.
In his highly successful career, Conor has worked as a solicitor, in politics and business. He has acted as a trusted advisor to senior leaders across business, government, digital and entertainment industries. Previously, as a solicitor, Conor represented clients at the Supreme Court of both the UK and Ireland and was involved in many high-profile and pioneering cases. Through his own management consulting firm, he provided insight and advice to government and businesses during Brexit. He was previously a Governor of The Irish Times Trust and served on numerous business and charity boards across the island of Ireland.
