Appearance on BBC Newsnight

CEO of Vulcan Consulting Lucinda Creighton appeared on BBC’s Newsnight on the day Prime Minister Boris Johnson met Taoiseach Leo Varadkar in Dublin.

Lucinda noted that a Canada-style free trade agreement wouldn’t solve the border question and is not a solution to replace the backstop. Lucinda expects that if there is a deal, it will be based around the Northern Ireland-only backstop but there is no guarantee that this will be the outcome.
